2024 Kentucky HIMA and Bluegrass HIMSS Annual Meeting

Dear Bluegrass HIMSS member,

We are extremely excited to have partnered with the Kentucky Health Information Management Association, KHIMA, for this year’s spring conference. This partnership builds upon several collaborative opportunities we have previously implemented and planned with KHIMA.  As we collectively consider the upcoming changes Artificial Intelligence poses for healthcare, how security threats continue to impact health information management, and the need for coordinated social drivers of health processes, we are stronger together.

This collaborative experience allows an expanded opportunity for networking for conference attendees, expanded educational offerings, and provides opportunities to understand new perspectives for healthcare challenges. Bringing together health information managers and health information systems through this conference fosters an improved coordination for healthcare in Kentucky.

We hope you will join us for this inaugural collaborative conference and join us in celebrating KHIMA’s 75th anniversary with an epic reception at the Corvette Museum.

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you – a collaborative effort between the Bluegrass Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (BGHIMSS) and the Kentucky Health Information Management Association (KHIMA) to host a joint conference!

 

Date: Monday, 4/22 through Tuesday, 4/23

Location: The Sloan Convention Center, Bowling Green, Kentucky 

 

As members of BGHIMSS, we understand the importance of staying ahead in the dynamic field of healthcare information management. By joining forces with KHIMA, we aim to bring you a conference experience that goes above and beyond, offering a unique opportunity to connect with a broader network of professionals and gain insights from industry experts.

 

 

 

 

 

  In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and HIMSS Kentucky Bluegrass   Chapter.  Postgraduate Institute for Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation   Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
